Stainless steel fasteners are used in any environment where there is a risk of corrosion such as in the marine , paper and food industries. Stainless steel fasteners come in many headforms such as Stainless steel hexagon screws, Stainless steel bolts, Stainless steel nuts, Stainless steel machine screws, Stainless steel studding, Stainless steel woodscrews and Stainless steel socket screws.
There are a large variety of Stainless steel nuts , such as full nuts, nyloc insert nuts, wing nuts, dome nuts and lock nuts. Stainless steel bolts are part threaded whereas Stainless steel screws are fully threaded.
There are numerous different types of fasteners such as hexagon, socket, stainless steel machine screws, tapping screws, stainless steel woodscrews and security screws, as well as an array of stainless steel specials.
Machine screws have various types of heads such as slotted, pozi and phillips recessed, 6-lobe and sockets.
Stainless steel security screws include socket hex pin, torx head pin, one-way, 2-pin or snake eyes and are increasingly in demand
Most of the manufacturing of stainless steel fasteners is now concentrated in the Far East which means that STF has to hold vast stocks at competitive prices with companies requiring ex stock availability.
