JCP's silicone includes an intumescent and acoustic sealant, in a 310ml injection tool cartridge. The mastic is a one part, halogen free, polymer emulsion, that swells when subjected to temperatures over 125 degrees Celsius, restricting the passage of smoke and fire. Typical applications include sealing joints around internal partitions, joints between fire-rated doors and fire-rated walls, ductwork, and service penetrations, sealing fire protection boards, and lap joints in fire-rated cladding.
